Critical Applications

Major Thermal Power Stations in India like NTPC or State Electricity Board utility (from 33 MW Captive Power Plant to 500 MW Super Thermal Power Plant), have sizeable population of  MIL  Control Valves in critical  applications like BFP Recirculation, Feed Water Control RH/ SH/ PRDS Spray and Soot Blower Pressure Reduction etc. MIL is also geared to serve the upcoming Super Critical Power Plants (800 & 1000 MW) with proposed strategic alliances with world-renowned manufacturers.

MIL 91000 series Matrix valves are employed, which have an ingenious Multi-stage, Multi-path, Anti-clog, 3-dimensional Flow path through periphery of concentric cylinders and have been designed for applications up to 420 bar pressure drops in 40 pressure dropping stages. For lower pressures, MIL 78000 Multi-stage, Axial flow valves incorporating a tortuous flow path along the multi-step plug also can be employed. These valves have a larger flow path and dismountable trim parts compared to Multi-stage, Multi-path stacked Cylinder/ plate designs and are virtually Anti-clog.

MIL 41000 series single/ multi-stage, Low noise valves with optimum selection of LO-dB cartridges and vent silencers are used effectively for high pressure steam discharge applications up to 170 bar, keeping the sound levels well within 85dBA.
