Self draining: These valves generally installed in flow to close direction minimizes body erosion especially for slurry & flashing service. Many angle valves are designed for specific purposes like flashing hydrocarbon liquids involving severe operating conditions such as high temperatures & pressures, choking etc. Other features are similar to 21000 series viz. Heavy & Rugged Top Guiding, Low noise trims, Tight shut-off, Threaded or Quick-change trims etc. Special Options: Venturi seat, Cage guided construction. Features Trims interchangable with 21000 series Application : For slurry services, where an optional purged connection can be provided on the bonnet to wash out entrapped particles. Venturi shaped trim avoids the erosional effects of flashing and hence the valve is suited for flashing service.
