High allowable pressure drops:
The special design provides control of high pressure fluids without erosion, vibration & high noise levels associated with conventionally designed control valves.

Adiabatic Flow with Friction:
Reduces pressure much like pressure loss occurring in a long pipe line.

Low pressure recovery:
Minimises potential for cavitation of liquids & contributes towards reduction of noise for all fluids.

Balanced trims:
Available for sizes 2” and above allows much higher shut-off pressures with conventional actuators.

Special Options:
Soft seat construction with encapsulated inserts, Angle & Inline body configurations.

Features

Multistep plug and cage design.

Zigzag and tortuous flow path provides a pressure drop nearly identical to a constant enthalpy flow with friction much like a pressure drop in a long pipe line.

Effective guiding all along plug-cage reduces vibration.

Unique soft seat construction protects the soft seat from wear and tear during throttling.

The spacer linear design of the valve protects the body from adverse effects of high pressure drops.

Hardened materials used for the trim :
ASTM A 276 TY 440C for the plug.
ASTM A 564 GR 630 for the spacer and liner.

Feed Pump Recirculation, Reheater Spray, PRDS Spray Control etc.
